I just love an original color combo. How about slate blue, peach, and cinnamon, used softly with ivory to create a one of a kind beautiful color scheme:
I just loved these favors. The bride made them. They are family recipe cookbooks. She gave me one and I can’t wait to try some of the yummy recipes. Thank you 🙂
After the set up, I headed home to cook a healthier chicken parmesan:
Healthier Chicken Parmesan
– 3 thin chicken cutlets
– whole wheat bread crumbs
-whole wheat flour
You need three bowls for your breading station. In one, put about a cup of bread crumbs (I seasoned mine with garlic powder, salt, and pepper).
Next bowl, 2 eggs beaten with a splash of milk.
3rd bowl, about a quarter cup of breadcrumbs mixed with a quarter cup of grated parmesan cheese (a took a chunk and put it in the food processor).
Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Dip chicken cutlets in flour, shake, then dip in eggs, then cover in breadcrumb, cheese mixture. Place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes (I use a digital thermometer to make sure it gets to 165 degrees).
Take out of oven, top with a little of your favorite marinara sauce (Hint: TJ Maxx has some great gourmet sauces and other food stuff, check it out) and some shredded mozzarella, and place under broiler until cheese gets bubbly and ever so slightly golden.
Enjoy with some whole wheat pasta.
